Outdoor Scavenger Hunt
Turn an egg carton into a fun outdoor scavenger hunt as toddlers search for nature items while building problem-solving and observation skills.
Materials
- An egg carton
- Six items to find outdoors (grass, rocks, sticks, leaves, flowers, pine cones) or indoors (LEGO, stickers, cotton balls, crayons, animal figurines)
Instructions
- Place an empty egg carton in front of your toddler.
- Show your toddler an item and ask them to find a match in the environment.
- Have your toddler place each found item into the carton.
