Big or Small
Compare objects of different sizes to help toddlers understand big versus small while building problem-solving skills.
Materials
- Anything of the same object type but in different sizes (e.g., dinosaurs, utensils, food)
Instructions
- Place two or more objects of the same type but in different sizes in front of your toddler.
- Ask your toddler which object is big and which object is small.
- Move the objects around and ask again.
Tips
Start with two very different sizes so your toddler can easily see the difference.
