A playful gross motor activity where toddlers take turns tossing a ball, building coordination and important social skills like sharing.
Materials
- Ball
- Dog (or just ball)
Instructions
- Show your toddler how to throw the ball.
- Have your toddler throw the ball to you or your dog.
- Say “my turn” and “your turn” as you take turns throwing the ball back and forth.
Tips
Model the movement once first, then let your toddler repeat it at their own pace before making it more challenging.
