Syllable Training
Help toddlers build phonological awareness by tapping out syllables in simple words.
Materials
- Flashcards
- Small pieces of paper labeled with numbers (based on the number of syllables you are practicing)
- A writing utensil
Instructions
- Select flashcards with words up to three syllables.
- Show a card and say the word slowly, tapping each syllable.
- Have your child tap the corresponding number.
- Guide their hand as needed until they grasp the concept.
