H For Hippo
Create a hippo craft with your toddler while learning the letter H through hands-on cutting, gluing, and early literacy fun.
Materials
- Purple, white, and red construction paper
- Marker
- Fake eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut the letter H and the hippo’s head from purple paper.
- Draw a couple of nostrils on its head.
- Cut out a red tongue and white teeth.
- Have your toddler assemble the hippo with glue!
Tips
Encourage your toddler to glue one piece at a time so they can focus on placing each part of the hippo correctly.
