Pumpkin Balance

A fall-themed balance and coordination STEM activity where toddlers stack paper rolls and carefully balance pumpkins on top.

Materials

  • Toilet paper rolls
  • Paper towel rolls
  • Small pumpkins or pumpkin decor

Instructions

  1. Show your toddler how to stack the paper rolls.
  2. Have your toddler stack the rolls.
  3. Show your toddler how to place a pumpkin on top.
  4. Have your toddler balance the pumpkin.
  5. Encourage your toddler to try again if it falls.
